The need
Digital educational content adapted to the Senegalese curriculum remains scarce. Xamalma organises learning from early primary to the end of high school, adding audio support for the first levels.
My role
Product design, full-stack development, text-to-speech audio pipeline, deployment and operations.

Structure content by school cycle
Lessons are organised by school level so students can follow a path that fits their curriculum.
Separate text, generation and publishing
The audio pipeline separates lesson scripts, TTS generation and file publishing, allowing a lesson and its audio to evolve.
Roll out audio support progressively
Audio currently covers CI, the first primary level. Expansion to other levels is in progress, using the same organisation of scripts, audio files and publishing.
